Regarding the location, it's close to the train station and many restaurants so it's very convenient. About the equipment: - Very clean room and comfortable bed - The onsen is very clean and big - The swimming pool with view, the sauna and the bar in the other building is very pleasant at the end of the day. I really enjoyed it~ A special word for the front desk staff: I thank from the bottom of my heart the girls who received me on September 5 evening and 6 in the morning and helped me recover my iPhone that I had forgotten on a Kamenoi line bus. If you had not write me the right words on a piece of paper in Japanese, or if you had not contacted the Kamenoi office, my stay would have been different. Thank you again for the welcome and your precious help. See you next time maybe, cuz thanks to you, I'll choose this hotel for sure ;)

Only a 7 minute walk from Beppu station, walking past a lot of restaurants on the way giving inspiration for dinner. Smooth check in, regular room (a little on the tight side) but comfortable for a solo traveler. Very comfy jinbei in the room to wear around the hotel. On site there's a coin washing/dryer machine and a massage centre. In the sister hotel just a couple steps away, you have the common baths and rooftop pool with heated water. In the common baths you can enjoy the amazing view over Beppu and the famous onsen waters rich in minerals. An interesting thing about this hotel is that you can use your key card to pay for things such as your washing and drinks from vending machines on site, but also use it to pay at restaurants in their network and settle your bill at check out. Really cool system and very simple to use.

The location is great. It is close to Beppu station, to the bus stop, and to shops and restaurants. Yet, it was very quiet at night so I slept well. The onsen in the Yurare building are amazing and make your skin soft but they can get congested depending on the time of the evening. A chart or info on when the onsen are busiest would be convenient. The Amanek Inn was ideal for people traveling for work as it has good wifi, a laundry machine, microwave, etc. Breakfast was also nice with half buffet style and half order style where you could choose between a Japanese or Western breakfast and get refills and extra's at the buffet. The coffee from the machine was also nice and I liked that you could even make a mimosa with cava if you wanted to. That added a nice touch of luxury.

Loved how we could use the onsen and pool facilities at the fancier hotel next door. It made our stay such good value. The room was a bit small with the bed pushed against the wall, but that’s not unusual for Japan. I didn’t find the room dirty, which I was concerned about based on other reviews. Maybe if I looked closely at the corners for dust I would have but I felt clean and comfortable in the room. Good location, maybe 5-10 minute walk from the train station and lots of food around. We parked overnight in a car park on the street behind for 1000 yen (つるみカーパーク on Google maps) as the Venus Gallery car park next door was quite expensive. Entrance to the hotel was a bit hard to find by car, as it’s set back from the street. Would stay again.

The pool and the onsen was relaxing and fun. The hotel had this beautiful yukatas for wearing in the common facilities. Also there was many free amenities in individual package like body towel, razor, different facial and body products. The onsen (public bath) has a drying machine for the swimsuits, which was very convenient. The staff were continuously in pool and onsen, so they were available for helping with any request. The onsen and pool has beautiful views to the city, so you can see the columns of steams going out from all the city.
